Bakers Year in Review 2022

2022 was a challenging year with the after effects of the pandemic and disruptions in supply chains. But we have kept all of our promises on project dates and our supply chain has been amazingly supportive.

We are very grateful for all of our customers' support and feedback during the year.

During 2022, we installed some incredible bespoke and pre-designed garden buildings which made it hard to pick our top projects. To make it easier, we have organised our top project list by garden room function: 

REF: 6028 Self - Contained Pool Side Room in West Sussex.

This project has been in the planning for many years, and it was a pleasure to execute it this year. This is one of the most comprehensive projects working alongside Compass Swimming Pools. The building itself has amazing bi-folding doors and slate stone cladding. Internally you have everything you need for a self-contained poolside room with changing room, shower, toilet and basin along with a lovely lounge area and a fully equipped kitchen.

4. Gyms and Hot Tub Garden Rooms

REF: 5876 & 5877 night shoot of Merlin Gym & Double Bi-Fold Hot Tub Room in Hampshire.

This two building project was in the planning stage for a number of years, however, it is now being used daily by the family. Our Merlin Apex gym features Gable glass with french doors and internal built-in cupboards, making it a stunning room. The second building is our bi-fold hot tub room with stone cladding inside and out, which is really a showstopper.

5. Endless Pool Garden Rooms

When considering an Endless Pool room, bi-fold doors are a great option as they give you better integration. This means that whatever the weather, you can enjoy your swimming experience.

6. Garden Mancaves

REF: 6078 Man Cave for the discerning gentleman in Buckinghamshire

A real favourite with the gentlemen, this man cave has colour matched tri-sliding doors and MTX cladding in RAL 7032 pebble grey,  Additionally, this man cave features an Em-glaze roof light, Bakers bar with matching record and CD cupboard, along with a cassette toilet.

REF: 6051 Pool Side Room with Sauna, Toilet & Two Roof Lights in Walton on Thames.

With double bi-fold doors, this building really is impressive. Featuring an Em-glaze roof  light and an amazing bar, this truly is a great place to get out of the sun while still feeling integrated with the pool and garden. To make this building even more impressive, we have added a secret area. Behind a large sliding door sits the changing room with roof light, sauna and toilet. We have even integrated the plant room for a really tidy solution.

3. Lounge and Entertainment Garden Rooms

REF: 6074 Contemporary Lounge / Entertainment Garden Room in Surrey

Our first to feature C06 Grey Green Cedral Cladding, which contrasts beautifully with the anthracite doors and windows. Additionally, the offset doors worked well in this position and gives a nice horseshoe shape for an internal area for hobbies.
