Which areas of Surrey do you cover?
We operate throughout the entire county. Our installation teams are regularly working in locations such as Guildford, Woking, Farnham, Weybridge, Esher, and Cobham, as well as the villages surrounding the Surrey Hills. Wherever you are located in the region, we can come to you.
Where can I view your buildings in person?
Our comprehensive show centre is situated in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, just a short drive for many Surrey residents. It features 14 fully furnished buildings so you can get a feel for the size and quality. If you cannot make the trip, we offer a popular virtual consultation service. Our Managing Director, Martin Baker, can walk you through the options via video call, bringing the showroom experience to your living room.
Will I need planning permission?
In many cases, no. The majority of our garden rooms are designed to fall within 'Permitted Development' guidelines (typically under 2.5m high). However, Surrey has many Conservation Areas and listed properties. If your home falls into these categories, we have an in-house administration team dedicated to handling planning applications on your behalf to ensure full compliance. Is your service truly "all-inclusive"?
Yes. Unlike many suppliers who leave you to find a builder for the concrete base or an electrician for the wiring, we provide a full "turnkey" solution. Bakers and our long list of trusted partners handle every part of the process from preparing the ground, installation of the base, building the room, and connecting the power and internet. We handle the hard work so your garden is ready for use immediately upon completion.
