This fantastic tri-sliding combination room has our latest Em-Glaze rooflight, integrated cupboards, a toilet and garden storage. The entire project had to be completed going through the house as no side access was available.

The Project

We designed and installed this combination garden room for a family in London. This contemporary garden room provides them with extra space to relax in, play and entertain.

The room measures 5.7m x 4m with a storeroom. Special features include a separate built-in cassette toilet, cupboard space where all lounge items are stored, a wall-mounted TV, tri-sliding aluminium doors and colour matched windows.

The building also includes MTX cladding and an Em-Glaze rooflight. The beautifully decorated insulated garden room can be used all year round.

The Work

To give the family the space they needed, we designed this garden room to be as wide as possible and build right up to their garden boundaries. In this instance, using tri-sliding doors instead of a bi-fold option worked well. The customers still have a wide opening door, without compromising on the panoramic view from the inside.

The main room includes an Em-Glaze rooflight which, despite being almost flat, floods the room with natural light. The family is always looking for more storage, so we incorporated solutions in the main room disguised with the same cladding used for the internal walls.

The cassette toilet is not plumbed into main works which is much more cost-effective and the perfect solution when plumbing may be an issue. The cassette point is accessed in the storeroom making it easy for the family to empty when needed.

This entire project, including clearance & installation, had to come through the house as there was no side access to the property.

The Result
